Ashbury Demo

If you missed it,...you missed out. Ashbury held the first ever team demo in snowboarding on Saturday. Yes, all snowboarders want to be just like skateboarders and now they're one step closer (maybe). All kidding aside, the demo was good times, no....great times highlighted by some equally great talent. Lucky for us, Elm and Ashbury share more than a handful of talented riders. Naturally, my camera ran out of batteries again, just as things were getting going. Fortunately for me though, there was no shortage of qualified photogs on scene taking much better photos than I ever could anyway. After about 90 minutes or so, the course turned into a free-for-all progression session until the mountain staff decided it was time to wrap it up.

Shakedown

Ranked as one of the top 5 snowboard events world wide, Shakedown brings world-class pros and up-and-coming ams by invitation to Mont Saint-Sauveur, just outside of Montreal Canada. The two day event attracts tens-of-thousands of spectators and is being held this year on April 3rd and 4th.














As an official sponsor, Elmcompany got together with the Shakedown crew to produce 3 styles of fitted caps for the event.

French Invasion

"Larrogs" came by today to pillage our sample inventory and confuse us with his bad english. He's the skinny guy throwin' the "peace" sign. Somebody once told me that if you're in Europe, throwin' the peace sign with your knuckles out is like throwin' the middle finger, so maybe Larrogs doesn't like being photographed? Anyway, him and some friends are out here for a bit handling some serious business, like visiting Magic Mountain.
